Blendi Gonxhja, Minister of Tourism, Culture and Innovation, spoke this evening on "Now" with Erla Mëhilli at Euronews Albania regarding the ongoing civic protest. Gonxhja said that, according to him, it is proven that Russia is behind this protest.
" I can say with conviction that the Russians are one of the most proven influences, through algorithms and all the behind-the-scenes work related to everything that happens virtually. Even with all the way in which a part that can be more naive, that can be honest and that can be sincere is instrumentalized. There is a sincere part of the protest that you can instrumentalize. It doesn't manipulate you in this way. It takes the image of a protest, generates it, increases it, enlarges it, exaggerates it and presents it in different ways. In digital warfare, there is Russia; there was also Iran ," Gonxha said.
