A 50-year-old man has been criminally prosecuted as part of the coded police operation "Brands", while efforts are being made to capture his son.
They stored in their apartment and in two entities on "5 Maji" street, clothes suspected to be smuggled from Turkey, to which they put logos and labels of well-known brands, with the intention of selling them at very high prices.
About 1,000 different confections, fake logos and labels of several brands, as well as a device for printing them, were seized as material evidence.
" The Specialists of the Sector for the Investigation of Economic and Financial Crimes at the DVP Tirana, after a real investigative work, under the direction of the Prosecutor's Office at the Court of First Instance of the General Jurisdiction Tirana, have organized and finalized the police operation coded "Brands", in the framework of which the proceedings have started in a free state for the citizen VA, 59 years old, resident in Tirana, and work is being done to capture his son, citizen DA, 29 years old.
From the investigative actions, it was found that these two citizens were storing in their apartment and in two entities on "5 Maji" street, goods (clothing) suspected to be smuggled from Turkey, to which they put logos and labels of well-known brands, with the aim of to sell them at very high prices.
About 1,000 different confections, fake logos and labels of several brands, as well as a device for printing them, were seized as material evidence.
The procedural materials were passed to the Prosecutor's Office at the Court of First Instance of the General Jurisdiction in Tirana, for further actions. "- announced the police.
