Two people were arrested by the Police for the purpose of extradition to Kosovo.
According to an official announcement, the services of the Special Operations Force Directorate, based on the information provided, organized and finalized the 78th and 79th phases of the police operation codenamed "Operacionalja".
In the city of Tirana, citizens RB and GH, residents of Tirana, were arrested and detained.
These two citizens were declared internationally wanted, after the Special Representative of the Secretary General of UNMIK/Kosovo, on 13.01.2026, issued an international arrest warrant for these two citizens, as suspects of committing the criminal offenses of "Participation in or organization of a structured criminal group", in the field of trafficking in human beings, provided for by the Criminal Code of Kosovo.
The citizens were detained with the aim of extradition to Kosovo authorities, the Police announced.
