18-year-old Lorena Bërdufi passed away at a young age.

The bitter news about her passing away was given by family and close friends on social networks.

Lorena suffered from heart disease and the cause of her death was a heart attack. Family and relatives have expressed their condolences for her escape. She came from Kavaja and studied at "Aleksandër Moisiu" gymnasium, while she was graduating in her last year.

She competed in the Miss Universe Albania 2023 competition.

"I want to fulfill my family's dream", said the 18-year-old in the introductory interview of the beauty competition.
