The Durrës Court has set the security measure of 'imprisonment' for the driver of the Bari-Durres bus line Elson Rrodhe, who was caught at the border with undeclared 100,000 euros.
The 37-year-old said that he had no knowledge of the money and that he had simply done his job as a driver.
Rrodhe is charged with the criminal offense of "Failure to declare cash and valuables at the border".
Rrodhe's arrest was made on June 13, where during a detailed inspection of the bus, 8 packages of euro banknotes were found in the ceiling, totaling 99,700 euros, which were seized as material evidence.
