A mechanic of Albanian origin, Xhevahir Ibraj, 42 years old, was sentenced to 2 years in prison after he was caught red-handed delivering a quantity of cocaine worth 139,000 euros.
Police caught Ibraj at a junction on Porterstown Road in Dublin 15, taking a Lidl bag from a co-accused which was later found to be filled with drugs.

Ibraj, of The Village, Clonsilla, Dublin, pleaded guilty to one count of possession of drugs for sale or supply on March 17, 2020, foreign media reports.
He was previously sentenced to four years in prison. The court stated that after the search in his house they found money and other items.
The court stated that Ibraj was initially charged with the most serious drug offense, but his guilty plea to the lesser drug charge was acceptable to the Director of Public Prosecutions.
Lawyer James Dwyer said his client is originally from Albania and has lived in Ireland for 14 years. He has a wife and two children, works as a mechanic and was described by defense lawyers as a "hard-working family man".
He had not come to the attention of the police before this incident, the court was told. Dwyer submitted that Ibraj's culpability was lesser than that of his co-accused.
Sentencing Ibrahim on Tuesday, Judge Martin Nolan said the accused behaved evasively when caught by agents, adding he deserved a prison sentence for his actions that day.
"He involved himself with a significant amount of drugs, either intentionally or negligently," he said, handing down a two-year sentence.
