The Greek police have put 3 Albanian citizens in handcuffs and wanted another one, after seizing a large amount of drugs, weapons and money.
The Greek police had provided information that a group of Albanians possessed large quantities of drugs with the intention of selling them in Athens.
During the control of an apartment on "Metanaston" street in Vari of Athens, 25 kg 210 grams of marijuana, 1 kg 375 grams of chocolate hashish, 200 grams of hashish oil, 1 "Beretta" pistol, 92 cartridges, 68 thousand 430 euros, 4 electronic scales, 3 mobile phones, while 1 vehicle was also seized.
Father and son, Memisha Memaj and Petraq Memaj from Vlora, aged 59 and 33, have fallen into custody.
During the control of another residence of their associate Juljan Cami, in "Navarkou Botsi" in Peristeri of Athens, 48 grams of cocaine and 60 grams of marijuana were found and seized.
After this control, the 27-year-old man was also arrested. The investigation showed that the other son of the 59-year-old, Stavro Memaj, 30, who was wanted by the Greek police, was also involved in this illegal activity.
