Four people have been arrested by police in Spain after being caught in a cannabis plantation. Police raided a group of people, including Albanians, who were involved in the cultivation and trafficking of marijuana in the province of Toledo.
Four people were arrested, including an electrician who installed electrical connections in a warehouse, for growing cannabis. Inside the warehouse where the illegal activity was carried out, 1,350 cannabis plants were found and seized.
According to foreign media, Albanians were responsible for taking care of the plants, and even for transporting them from Spain to Germany. In addition to the narcotics, laptops, fans, lamps and other items for growing plants were also found inside the warehouse, which were seized by police agents.
Similar operations were carried out last year, where more than 400,000 narcotic plants were seized, as part of 2,000 investigations carried out by Spanish justice institutions. So far, 4 Albanians have been arrested, while operations continue for others involved in this network.
