Hundreds of citizens have held tributes in honor of the family that died a few days ago near New York after a police officer shot dead his Albanian wife and two minor sons.

The Clarkstown Police Department identified the victims as 49-year-old Watson Morgan, his wife Ornela Morgan, 43, and the couple's two sons, ages 10 and 12.

The serious incident was discovered by police shortly after midnight on Friday at the family's home in New City, a suburb of New York City, after the 49-year-old did not show up for work that evening. The next day, during the search in his apartment, the dead bodies of four members of the Albanian-American family were found.

The police say that they still do not have a motive for the serious incident, while investigations are still ongoing.
