Police officers found Watson Morgan, 49, his Albanian wife Ornela Morgan (Rora) from Korça, 43, and their two sons, aged 10 and 12, dead.
Authorities said all four family members had gunshot wounds and a handgun was recovered at the scene.
Their bodies were discovered shortly after midnight on December 30 at the family's home in New City, a suburb of New York City, after Morgan failed to show up for his evening shift at the Bronxville Police Department.
