The manner of the murder has prompted the Greek authorities to believe that it was all ordered by the Albanian mafia.
The murder of the Greek surveyor Panagiotis Stathis has attracted the attention of the British media Daily Mail, which has researched another side of what is happening in Mykonos.
The 54-year-old's execution took place at 8:30 a.m. a few months ago in the Psychiko neighborhood of Athens, but apparently all roads lead to Mykonos.

According to the British media, the murder of the 54-year-old was ordered by the mafia.
Meanwhile, the images from the moment of the execution have also been made public, where a motorcyclist dressed in black hides from the car in which the 54-year-old was driving, and shoots him several times.
After completing the "task", he puts the gun back in his jacket and leaves the scene.
Stathis was killed for a plot of land in Mykonos, 160 km from Athens. Locals claim that most of the island is run by the Greek mafia, exerting control over engineers and surveyors to do construction in order to make money from the millions of tourists who visit the island.
Greek investigators believe that the surveyor's murder was done in exchange for a sum of 100,000 euros. One person has already been arrested, but the investigation continues.
GENESIS
Media reports that the incident stems from a dispute over land on the island. Stathis had purchased a 9.5-hectare plot adjacent to the site where the luxury Four Seasons hotel is planned to be built, thwarting efforts by a local real estate agent to purchase the same property.
Stathis and his business partner managed to block the agent's efforts and buy the property themselves. But their names do not appear anywhere as they have given the land in the name of their relatives. In August 2020, Stathis secured a permit to build a five-star hotel on the same property. The permit was granted until August 2021. Under these conditions, he revised the permit to reduce the volume of construction, but it seems that the ultimate goal was to sell the land for the construction of the "Four Seasons".
Albanians in the "game"
After the execution of the 54-year-old, the police discovered that strong criminal figures based in Athens were hiding behind the event. These groups fined businessmen, starting from 5 thousand euros.
According to the media, Stathi was attacked several times after he was executed after he refused to pay the fine. Two of the attacks are suspected to have been carried out by the Albanian Alfons Ndoci, who was then executed in prison.
The investigators even suspect that the mafia groups first eliminated the follower and then Stath, so that the Albanian could close his mouth and not reveal who the real orderers were.
The boss of Ndoc and the clash between them
The name of Alfons Ndoci appeared earlier in the media, where it is said that he operated under the orders of another Albanian, 42-year-old Tonin Preka, who was a businessman and lived in Mykonos.
But the friendship between Ndoc and Preka did not last long, as they had economic clashes, and it is alleged that the 42-year-old businessman was attacked and raped by his former subordinate and another Albanian, 52-year-old Gerald Jaho.
After beating him, Jaho and Ndoci took 40,000 euros from Preka.
event
In January of last year, Preka, while she was in a shopping center, informed the police that she was attacked by two Albanians who robbed her.
The police immediately arrived at the scene and immediately arrested them. Therefore, Ndoci is burdened by other charges, such as the one in 2014, where during a robbery in Elefsina, he killed the owner of the store because he resisted. During his time in prison, in 2018 he escaped from the prison transport vehicle at the Port of Patras together with three other prisoners, including Juliano Halili. He was even caught with the latter a few days later by the police. The latter is the person who took over the murder of Ndoc in Koridhalo. 41-year-old Xuliano Halili, known as "Niko", was convicted for the murder of father and son, Fillim and Oligert Mesaja, in 2011 in Kalamata. The murder was then ordered by the notorious Greek criminal Vasilis Varelas to wash accounts. In January 2021, Varelas was found by the Greek police in a "BMË" vehicle with black windows together with the Albanian Alket Rizai. Both had been released from prison.
