The murder of Faik Ajdini in Memaliaj, Blerti Kanushi is left in prison

Blerti Kanushi, accused of murdering 72-year-old Faik Ajdini, has been left in prison.

The court has set the security measure for Blerti Kanushi and Darovi Hajdini in connection with the murder of 72-year-old Faik Ajdini, an event that occurred on August 19, 2024 in the village of Zhapokik in Memaliajt in Gjirokastër.

The court has imposed the measure of "Prison arrest" for the author and "House arrest" for Darovi Hajdini, who is accused of concealing the crime.

Initially, it was the prosecutor Bledar Bala, who during 30 minutes explained in detail the circumstances of the event where he clarified and documented with material evidence the activity of Blerti Kanushi.

The latter remained silent the entire time and did not react at any moment, leaving the right of reaction to his lawyer Malo Sadikaj.
