This information led the police to the home of Ervis Lam, a well-known name in the Albanian underworld, who is believed to be residing in Dubai at this time.
According to investigative data, several years ago, Lulzim Visha had a conflict with Ervis Lami, who, together with his cousin, had raped him over a piece of land.
Acting on this information, serious crimes officers conducted a search of the residences of Ervis Lam and his cousin, Eduard Lam.
There, an MP5 model automatic firearm with a silencer and combat ammunition, 15 pieces of combat cartridges, an axe, a knife, a Glock pistol holster were found, and 4 gun casings were found in the yard of the house.
Eduart Lami was arrested for these illegal items, claiming that he did not possess the weapon and ammunition. Ervis Lami, meanwhile, was declared wanted.
The Tirana Prosecution Office said that the two Lami cousins, up to this stage of the investigation, are only accused of "Unauthorized Possession of Weapons and Ammunition."
Beyond suspicions, there are no charges brought against them for the murder of postman Lulzim Visha.
The other investigation into the execution of the 48-year-old is that of revenge for a murder that the victim's brother, Besnik Visha, committed in 1997.
