The Greek media have published the letter that the 41-year-old Albanian, Xorxhia Murati, sent some time ago to her husband who brutally executed her on New Year's Eve.
It is a handwritten letter from the victim when she found out she was pregnant.
The letter was submitted to Greek television by the 41-year-old's husband himself a week ago, when it had not yet been proven that he was the author of the crime.
By giving the letter to the "Truths with Zina" show, the 39-year-old Greek tried to divert the investigations regarding what had happened.
In the letter, the victim expresses her love for her husband, but also talks about a possible separation after the situation created between them. The relationship between them in the letter is unclear and it is not understood what happened.
The letter that 41-year-old Georgia allegedly sent to her partner:
"My love…
I'm putting on the perfume and leaving...
The moment you come back, I won't be here, nor will I come after work...
So much has happened these days that it's unfair not to have a little more time...
Do you know what song I'm listening to right now? "Light!"
I fight the demons every day and try to cast them out, so that I don't wear you down, blow you up, drive you away.
Thank you for everything you do for me, for everything you are to me, for everything I am with you and for many, many more.
I love you", says the letter.
The 41-year-old had a 13-year-old daughter and was three months pregnant.
From the first moment, her partner tried to remove any doubt by claiming that the 41-year-old had left a message for him before she disappeared. In fact, he himself affirmed that he cooperated with the investigations of the authorities and in any case emphasized that he had no involvement in this case.
According to Greek media, the 41-year-old woman was ambushed when she entered her partner's house, who together with a friend tied her up, executed her and hid her body in a suitcase outside the residential areas.
The motives of the serious crime remain a mystery, as her husband and his friend have denied that they intended to kill her.
