New facts have emerged from the investigation file related to the murder of the former director of OST in Rrëshen, Saimir Jaku, which happened on September 9, 2016.
The three perpetrators participating in this serious crime, after executing Jaku with 14 machine gun bullets and injuring his friend, Gjergj Prenga, on the way, broke through a road police checkpoint, firing machine gun bursts into the air.
The perpetrators' car, a four-light Benz with black windows, was spotted by a policeman in the city, giving the license plate AA149DK to all police patrols. This vehicle was stolen in Kamez.
According to the file provided by "Ora News", the perpetrators' car was identified a few minutes after the crime was committed, by a traffic police patrol stationed at the checkpoint in Rubik, near the "Start" gas station.
But as they saw the police officers who had occupied the road, one of the perpetrators opened the door of the vehicle and fired a gun into the air.
Then the policemen left and the vehicle followed the road in the direction of Milot and the village of Skuraj, left the main road and left in the direction of the village of Vinjoll in the Kurbin district.
The perpetrators, after stopping the vehicle in a place called Vinjoll, burned it and then left with other means.
For this serious crime, the police and the prosecutor's office of Lezha have identified only one of the three perpetrators, who turns out to be Dorjan Keqi, a young man from the village of Vinjoll i Kurbin, who claims to work as a bricklayer.
His identification was made on July 27, 2022, after he was arrested quite by chance while traveling by car together with the nephew of Durim Bami.
"...in the AFIS system, it has been found that the papillary trace fixed at the scene of the shooting of Saimir Jakut, fixed on the plastic canister with gasoline fuel, found near the vehicle burned by the perpetrators of the crime, was identified called Vinjoll-Kurbin, belong to the citizen Dorjan Ismail Keqi..." - it is said in the investigative file.
At the moment, Dorjan Keqi has been taken as a defendant and sent to court, being accused of the criminal offense of "Murder in other qualifying circumstances" and "Unauthorized possession and production of weapons, explosive weapons and ammunition".
In the investigative file, it is stated that the serious crime was registered on September 9, 2016, after Sajmir Jaku left the house in the morning and around 09:10 and went to the local phone "Filopati", together with his cousin, Jurgen Jaku.
After sitting at one of the tables on the veranda of this bar, the late Saimir Jaku invited the citizen Ardian Tusha to drink coffee and a little later Gjergj Prenga joined them.
After staying a few minutes, Ardian Tusha left the bar to go to his work near the Rrëshen City Museum.
During this time, a Mercedes-Benz vehicle, with 4 headlights, black in color, with license plate AA149DK and with black windows, was found in motion in the city of Rrëshen.
This vehicle was stopped in front of the "Filopati" bar on the main road and 2 people got out of this car, armed with automatic firearms, dressed in black and masked clothes, who after climbing to the bar's veranda, they shot in the direction of Saimir Jaku, who was left dead on the spot, and Gjergj Prenga, who was at the table with the deceased Saimir Jaku, was injured by the shooting.
After committing the crime, the perpetrators left the bar and got into the vehicle with license plate AA149DK, leaving in the direction of the city of Rubik.
From the inspection of the aforementioned vehicle, it was found that it was completely burnt. An empty 3-liter plastic canister, in which the smell of gasoline could be felt, was found and seized near the vehicle.
It was in this bin that a fingerprint was obtained, which, after the comparisons, turned out to belong to the arrested Dorian Keqi./oranews
