The media reports that the two Albanian perpetrators of the murder, a 47-year-old man and Alidon Marqeshi, who were arrested with narcotics in Tirana, wanted to take revenge for a murder that happened in 2000 in Elbasan, 17 years before the murder was committed in Germany. .
The Albanians managed to send Xhoi Musaj to the lake where they then hit him 8 times on the back of the head with a hammer, leaving him dead on the spot. The victim Xhoi Musaj was the nephew of the person who committed the murder in 2000 in Albania.
At that time, Musaj's family was aware that the young man was threatened with murder for revenge according to the rules of the customary law of the canon, he had just turned 18 years old. This was also the reason why he left for Germany together with his mother and younger brother.
It is suspected that the perpetrators of the murder discovered Musaj's residence through photos posted on his Facebook account. One of the perpetrators of the murder, the 47-year-old, whose identity is not known, had been living in Germany for several years.
Two years after the event, the German justice sentenced him to life imprisonment for the murder in cooperation of Xhoi Musaj.
