This morning, the court session for the security measures against Esmerald Balla, who is accused of killing his father Enver Balla after a quarrel with economic motives and the accused as a supporter, Edison Brahaj, has started.
The Court of Durrës will assess the measures requested by the Prosecutor's Office and will decide after hearing the defense. The prosecuting authority requests isolation in custody for the criminal offense of intentional homicide due to special qualities, possession of weapons without a permit, and supporting the perpetrator of the crime.
The boy is accused of killing his father after constant conflicts over an amount of 75,000 euros in the savings safe that he had lost, and both accused each other.
After the conflict in the family home, Esmeraldi (in a white shirt), shot the 62-year-old with a pistol. He then asked for the help of suspect Brahaj (in a black T-shirt), who worked as a shepherd in the stable, and they threw the body into the nearby well.
The incident was reported as the disappearance of the victim without a trace and his departure with an unknown woman, by the boys themselves on August 13. He was arrested on September 3 by the Police, as he was suspected of being the perpetrator of the crime in the family.
