Minute by minute/ 43 days of protest, Albanians demand the removal of the

"This is the people's protest", the teacher: Politicians have stolen from us and struck us in the heart and marrow!

Teacher Lush Susaj spoke before the protesters at the Prime Minister's Office, analyzing the figures of the decline in the number of pupils and students in schools, as well as accusing the government of corruption and attacks on the Albanian family.

He declared that popular resistance cannot be stopped by the maneuvers of power and called for rejecting propaganda.

" This is the people's protest and it doesn't go into your pocket, there are 7 million Albanians in protest and who don't want this government. The dirty work they are doing with intimidation and the dirty propaganda of the most corrupt government in Europe will end! Don't listen to the propaganda! They have stolen our funds and we are in pieces with infrastructure even though Europe has given billions ," Susaj said.

Further, the lecturer focused specifically on the situation in the education system and the reasons that, according to him, have led to the massive departure of young people from the country.

"They have hit us in the heart and spinal cord, they have hit us in Albanian schools. Today we only have 115 thousand students. It has dropped by 35%. No world war has done this to Albania! The number of students in schools has dropped, the number of graduates has dropped by 50% from 13 years ago! Why did this happen? Because this dirty and traitorous government massacred the Albanian family in property, in judicial rights, in health care, in environmental standards, in security! Find me somewhere else where youth has been massacred like in Albania!", he said in his speech.

Today marks the 43rd day of the protest. After taking up residence at the Prime Minister's Office, one of the protesters strongly criticized the much-discussed concert of American rapper Kanye West held the day before in Tirana.

Focusing on the event that received 4.2 million euros from emergency funds, the protester turned the response into a sarcastic provocation that caused cheers from the crowd.

"The most beautiful song at Kanye West's concert yesterday was the song 'Rama resigns,'" he said ironically, implying that despite the government's efforts to distract public opinion with lights and spectacles worth millions of euros, the call was heard at the concert as well.

Activist Luçiana Kokaj, in her speech at the 43rd consecutive protest in front of the Prime Minister's Office, accused the government of attempting, according to her, to intimidate protesters and their families, emphasizing that these actions will not stop the civic movement.

"The government has attacked us since day one, calling us agents, dealing with us personally, and attempting to intimidate our families. But no maneuver will take us away from our right to defend our homeland," Koka declared during her speech.

She stated that, despite the labeling and pressure that, according to her, have been exerted on activists, the protest has continued to gather citizens of different ages every day.

According to Koka, the presence of young people, women and families at the rally is proof that the protesters have not backed down from their goal.

"Every day here we see youth, women, children and families who are not afraid of anything ," she said, calling for continued civic mobilization.

Luçiana Kokaj:  No one thought we would last this long. We endured this system, robbery and extortion for 85 years. What are 43 days in our lives. May it continue until Albania regains dignity. There is no summer, no summer vacation that takes Albanians away from the square. I call on you to be more and more every day, Albania needs us. May our children grow up with dignity in their land. The government has attacked us since day one, as agents and by dealing with each of us, no maneuver takes us away from our right to defend our homeland. I am very happy that every day I see here young people, family members who are not afraid of anything to defend Albania.

The rally is taking place for the 43rd consecutive day, while organizers declare that the protests will continue until their demands are met.

The protest in front of the Prime Minister's Office building has entered its 43rd day, with the participation of thousands of citizens, who gathered again today to express opposition to the government and demand the resignation of Prime Minister Edi Rama.

Citizens are flocking to the Prime Minister's Office, holding national flags and banners with anti-government messages, while calls for the Prime Minister's resignation and political change were heard throughout the rally.

Protesters say their dissatisfaction is related to issues that, according to them, affect governance, the economy, corruption, and the standard of living.

A citizen who participated in today's protest in Skanderbeg Square has explained the reasons that prompted him to attend the rally, focusing on his concern for the future of children and the social situation in the country.

"I came out to protest for my children, because I want to raise them in Albania. I don't want us to take the ways of the world! All honest Albanians should gather here, here we find honest and disinterested Albanians. Only for our rights and those of our nation, that's why I came out to protest today," the citizen said.

He further criticized the political and social situation in the country, citing corruption and crime as some of the main problems that, according to him, affect the daily lives of citizens.

"We face endless problems. The main reason is the corruption that is burying us every day, the crime that surrounds us every day. All parties, without exception, have left us in a mess," he declared.

The protesters have vowed to continue their daily rallies until their demands are met. The atmosphere in front of the Prime Minister's Office has been 'occupied' by cheers, patriotic songs and continuous calls to institutions.

Protests in front of the Prime Minister's Office have been ongoing for 43 consecutive days, while organizers have announced that they will continue the rallies in the coming days, insisting on their demands for political change.
