Blendi Čeka from "Data Centrum" has analyzed the results of the elections in 2017 and 2021, compared to the expectations of the majority for 2025.
According to him, based on the data, which show that the participation in the elections was almost 50%, it is expected that the Socialist Party will be able to win at least 71 mandates again.
" Every party that has an electoral history, the past serves to create the concept for tomorrow. In the way we have listed them, it is the number of voters, the percentage and the number of mandates. We took 2017 and 2021 as results, it is because from the point of view of the rules of the game, nothing has changed. Participation is at 50%, so even if it reaches this figure again in 2025, the probability is 99% that they will have 71 mandates. Whatever the electoral system, he will be able to get more than 71 mandates ", he said in the Barometer show on Euronews Albania.
According to Čeka, even the participation could have been higher, taking into account the invalid votes.
So as a starting point for the year 2025, if this result is achieved, it is again the percentage that shows the expected result with at least 71 mandates for the majority. According to him, one in two Albanians vote for the Socialist Party.
