During a year-end press conference, Prime Minister Edi Rama was asked whether SPAK is the real opposition to the government, an idea that has been reinforced by political rhetoric and public clashes throughout 2025. Rama rejected this claim, emphasizing that SPAK is an institution created, supported, and guaranteed by the very majority he leads.
" SPAK is not the government's opposition. It is a new institution, created thanks to the will of this governing force, supported by this governing force, guaranteed by this governing force.
