The General Secretary of the Freedom Party, Tedi Blushi, has given details about the three accusations against the head of the PL, Ilir Meta.
Invited to Euronews, Blushi said that he has constant communication with Meta and announced that the latter is in good health.
"I communicated every day and am in permanent contact. It is in an excellent state of health, that is important", said Blushi.
Regarding the allusions that the leader of the Freedom Party, Ilir Meta, has requested gym equipment in the prison facilities, Blushi stated that this is untrue.
"Now let's not lower the level of the debate with untrue arguments that demand attention in public opinion. They seek to attract attention with untrue statements," Blushi said.
As for the footage of Meta's arrest, Blushi called it a kidnapping by criminal groups and stated that he is investigating the people who participated alongside the police forces.
"I denounced it earlier; it is a terrorist act. I have also denounced in my statements, that characters connected with the world of crime in Durrës and Shkodër. We are in the process of investigating to publish the faces and names of these thugs who participated. All Albanians should know them by name and surname, since they dared to break the law. We are still in the verification process, which will be accompanied by a criminal complaint, so that no one participates as a party to the police. We are dealing with a mafia assassination of criminal groups. In such actions, these groups masked in the uniform of the state intervene in police actions, and no one is introduced as a police officer. The footage was recorded with an iPhone, and it is not known who owns the footage; a terrorist operation ordered by Edi Rama and Altin Dumani. I call it kidnapping, because after 30 minutes no one knew the whereabouts of the president of the Freedom Party. He was kept in the police premises without any charges", said Blushi.
