Lulzim Basha has given another blow to former Prime Minister Sali Berisha, as he has expelled 11 MPs from the DP Parliamentary Group, supporters of "non women" after he officially took over the leadership of the Democratic Party.
It is learned that the decision was taken at today's meeting, chaired by Chief Democrat Lulzim Basha.
It is reported that today's decision has also been sent to the Parliament of Albania in writing.

2. Ina Zhupa;
3 Isuf Çela;
4. Asllan Dogjani;
5. Bujar Leskaj;
6. Edi Paloka;
7. Kastriot Piroli;
8. Lindita Metaliaj;
9. Ludovik Hasanaj;
10. Sorina Koti;
11. Tomorr Alizoti;
In the meantime, the document submitted to the Assembly for the confirmation of the deputies who are part of the DP parliamentary group, where the legislators who supported the former prime minister Sali Berisha, are missing, has been revealed.
The document bears the signature of September 26, where it is confirmed that 24 MPs are part of the Basha parliamentary group.
It is learned that the decision to expel 11 democratic deputies was taken at the beginning of 2022 and was reflected in June 2023, who no longer appear as members of the National Council due to their functions as deputies.

Item 2 of Article 16 of the Regulations of the Assembly of the Republic of Albania foresees the obligation of the parliamentary groups to inform the Speaker of the Assembly of any subsequent change in the composition of the parliamentary groups. Based on this legal obligation, in support of the decision of the National Council of the Democratic Party, the Presidency of the Democratic Party, based on articles 22 and 26 of the statute, article 3 of the Internal Regulation of the DP Parliamentary Group, we inform you that the composition of the Group Parliamentary of the Democratic Party, starting from 25.09.2023 is as follows;
