Ballot on May 11, KAS refutes claims of Berisha's ally

The KAS has rejected by a majority vote a complaint made regarding the ballot paper, where one of the DP's allies in the 'Greater Albania' coalition had requested that the surnames be in 'bold', while the letters used be in capitals.

The complaint was filed with the KAS by Altin Goxhaj of the Conservative Alliance for Albania party, one of the 25 parties that signed the agreement with Sali Berisha's Democratic Party for the May 11 elections.

"After reviewing the matter in its entirety, the KAS, by majority vote, decided to reject the appeal request number 6 dated 19.03.2025 of the Conservative Alliance for Albania Party, upholding decision number 287, dated 18.03.2025 of the State Election Commissioner for the approval of the content of the ballot for the Assembly elections on May 11, 2025. This decision enters into force immediately and is announced on the official website of the CEC. An appeal may be filed against this decision," KAZ officially stated in a statement.
