The Parliamentary Group of the Democratic Party has submitted today to the Assembly the motion for the removal of the mandate of the Socialist MP Vullnet Sinaj.
The motion was signed by 14 opposition legislators, who prove through evidence "that MP Sinai exercises his mandate in violation of point 3 of Article 70 of the Constitution, which prohibits the MP from receiving funds from the State Budget or state property."
The DP group accuses the socialist MP of having benefited from the State Budget through the companies owned by him. According to them, through 9 transactions, the companies owned or co-owned by Sinai have received income from the State Budget in the total amount of 3,689,814 ALL.
For his part, Sinaj, in a reaction on social media, says that since 2017 he has given up the administration of his businesses and that he has devoted himself only to politics, claiming that he did not benefit from the state budget even when he was not deputy even after being elected as a legislator, but the evidence says otherwise.
