The Investigative Commission of TIMS, Gogu clashes fiercely with Salianji: Boll

Today's meeting of the Parliamentary Investigative Committee on TIMS started with debates.

The reason is the refusal by the chairman of the commission, Ervin Salianji, to put to a vote the request of the Minister of the Interior, Taulant Balla, to hold a meeting with closed doors.

Vice President Tonin Gogu clashed with Democratic Party MP Ervin Salianji, who asked him to put Balla's request to a vote as this commission is a place of work and not a spectacle.

"This commission is a workplace, not a show. The spectacle of this commission is the commission's decisions, not every time you appear on television. Vote on the request as required by law because you do not carry the power of the commission. You are a first among equals, you lead the meetings of this commission and call the meeting of this commission. You should inform the commission about Balla's request", said Gogu during his speech.

"Up jump where you've sunk. I'm resigned if I've lied. Members of the majority will be looking behind closed doors. The more tone and inappropriate you speak, the bigger your trouble. PS there you have it , distributed the press release 15 minutes before this meeting took place. During my speech, I did the reading of the law and no interpretation. The agenda called the Minister of the Interior as a witness. Let's discuss it as you said and you and your representative, let's ask the experts. General, don't be afraid of combat tactics, one with weapons, the other with quotes. Please, according to the agenda of this investigative committee, please inform the first witness of this committee. You cannot take this meeting hostage", continued Salianji.
