SP leader Edi Rama is reported to have entrusted the leadership of the Special Commission for Electoral Reform to Damian Gjiknuri.
This decision was made today during a meeting of the Socialist Party parliamentary group.
We remind you that today the Socialist Party has gathered the parliamentary group in the presidency of the Assembly, a meeting that is being held for the first time for this parliamentary session.
Prime Minister Edi Rama was also part of it.
The focus of the meeting is expected to be the amendment of the Parliament's regulation on the reorganization of parliamentary committees. The consecutive plenary sessions scheduled for this week are also expected to be part of the discussions.
Edi Rama's order, expressed in the Assembly, to reform the Parliament, is expected to be implemented this Monday, as Parliament Speaker Niko Peleshi receives the heads of parliamentary groups in the Assembly's presidency. The changes are expected to be approved in the session on Tuesday.
