The Assembly has started work on the implementation of 3 decisions of the Constitutional Court on the law on the taxation of free professions, the new Regulation of the Assembly and the law on Parliamentary Commissions of Inquiry.
At the first meeting of the Council of Legislation, the parties agreed to start work, but for the opposition, the emergency is the review of the law on free professions.
"The decisions will be examined in the Legislation Council in a parliamentary procedure, there will be proposals and amendments from fellow deputies. There will be a report with a relator from the minority and one from the majority. The decision of the GJK on taxes should be reviewed urgently", said the president Dhurata Çupi.
The leader of the DP group spoke with irony about the statement of the Minister of Finance, Petri Malaj, that they will turn to the Constitutional Court for the prepaid tax.
Bardhi said that the money should go to freelancers with an accelerated procedure.
"The government suffocated 30 thousand free professionals with an unconstitutional tax. GJKK said what to do with the money, you will have to give it back. It is an unconstitutional decision, it says that any tax prepaid by these professionals will have to be returned to their family budget and not to the state budget. The one who drafted the provisions to suppress the opposition's right to parliamentary control, the same person who showed by his deeds that he does not ask about the constitution, we say we will appoint him to fix his unconstitutionality. This shows that you do not shy away from unconstitutionality. The only thing that interferes is the self-employed tax law. You should withdraw and maybe with an accelerated procedure we will return the money back to them", said Bardhi.
As far as the regulation of the Assembly and the law on Investigative Commissions are concerned, DP accused the majority of violating the rights of the opposition with unconstitutional decisions.
Bardhi even called on them to ask for forgiveness, while he expressed displeasure with the appointment of Ermonela Felaj as SP's realtor for the Law on Investigative Commissions.
"She who is the author of silencing the opposition cannot be the corrector of the law," said Bardhi.
