Former Prime Minister Sali Berisha has declared that in the next parliamentary elections they will join the coalition. During his speech at the conference with journalists, Berisha said that the PD in the elections will have the logo that belongs to it.
Berisha also emphasized that Meta is his precious ally and all actions will be coordinated with PL.
"We are in a battle and we will do everything, the goal of this battle is for Albanians to vote freely. When I say that Albanians vote freely, respect the laws that were violated one by one. You say he won, I say that he stole them. Telling someone who steals, you won, in the case of elections, is like telling someone who steals from a house, that it is not stolen property, but yours. You can no longer go with a logic.
When he steals, I am not able to say how much we won, but I am able to say this, that not having commissioners and counters in half of the commissions, not having the name of the coalition chairman on the ballot, having zero funding for 61 candidates, compared to the 1.2 million that Lul Brava received, distributing the envelope to 683 thousand pensioners, with 50 thousand lek, I am telling the public, he has never won the elections with a margin of 100 thousand votes. That these together are at least 200 thousand votes. This is the truth. Therefore, we will participate in the elections without question with a coalition, but the PD will have the logo that belongs to it. We are moving, the Supreme Court will hold it in an illegal, unconstitutional way, then we will go to Strasbourg and there I have faith in European justice and we will win our just cause," said Berisha, while adding: "Meta is an ally of valuable member of the DP and all actions will be coordinated with the PL".
