One day after the opposition protest, the US chargé d'affaires meets with Minister Hoxha

One day after the opposition protest, the US charge d'affaires in Albania, Nancy VanHorn, went to meet the Minister of the Interior, Ervin Hoxha.

The American diplomat arrived at the Ministry of the Interior a few minutes ago to meet with Minister Hoxha.

The Ministry of Interior was one of the institutions where protesters threw Molotov cocktails and flares, causing fires, which were extinguished by firefighters and police. 

After the march to the Prime Minister and the headquarters of the Socialist Party, the protesters moved towards the Ministry of the Interior. Then they moved to the Municipality of Tirana and finally to the Assembly.
