"We will never abandon the Parliament", Bylykbashi: Rama's goal,

The vice-president and deputy of the Democratic Party Oerd Bylykbashi spoke about the political situation, the action of the opposition and the answers of the majority.

Bylykbashi said that Thursday's session was as it should be with strong debates and arguments. The PD MP adds that they have never made a decision to leave the Parliament.

"A parliamentary session is that, it is not that other situation. Going back to last year's budget debate, it was not a budget debate, it was a shame, 8 minutes. Talking about a plenary session should mean a healthy debate, where the arguments of the parties are strong, the debates can be tough. The one on Thursday is a session which gave the opposition the opportunity to express its positions in relation to such an important aspect as the budget.

We have never made the decision to leave the parliament. We had only 7-8 MPs left without expulsion, the others were expelled without law. The Constitutional Court had abolished the long-term exemptions, this unconstitutional and anti-parliamentary repressive parliamentary mechanism had expelled the opposition deputies from the assembly" , said Bylykbashi.

He stated that Prime Minister Rama aims to keep the opposition out of Parliament. As he recalled the tensions, Bylykbashi said that the decision to expel his colleagues had the signature of the arrested ex-MP Çyrbja.

"The accusation is against Spiropal, if it wasn't for the court decision that annulled it...they intend to appeal it to the Appeal. So, the intention to continue to keep the opposition out is stable, it is Edi Rama's. It is not just an ethical commission. When we call him to review our requests, he does not meet. The decision to expel colleagues was signed by the arrested ex-MP Çyrbja. The opposition parliamentary group was expelled.

The Speaker of the Assembly is the number two of the Republic, it is not a position to get in and out of the car. The regulation is that of a concentration camp, the opposition is disciplined as if it were the enemy. The Garda and the police were used. The parliament is inviolable, meanwhile, two weeks ago we had the state police who intervened in an unconstitutional manner" , said the vice-president of the DP.

Asked if there was violence from the opposition, the PD deputy said that he did not see it as a criminal offense, even according to him, the Prosecutor's Office did not consider the chaos in front of the Assembly as violence.

"As far as I know, the prosecution has dismissed this aspect. He did not see it as a criminal offense which had the same goals as the majority says. Everyone should climb to the height of that number two chair of the state, if they can't climb, the problem is the person. The President of the Assembly must guarantee the implementation of the rules and procedure that enable the parliamentary debate. According to the EC report, the parliament can function satisfactorily", he told "News 24".
