Nuredin Seci from Tropoja, educated as an electrician in Shkodra, known as a mountaineer and living in the United States of America, has become the guarantor of a $6 million contract to lobby the American government on behalf of the Democratic Party and to remove Sali Berisha from the US blacklist.
The contract, which will most likely become SPAK's hottest file, was signed by the Secretary General of the Democratic Party, Flamur Noka, in the capacity of the beneficiary, an obligation required by American law.
It seems that Seci and Noka were not chosen by chance for this dubiously financed operation. Whatever the course of events, Nuredin Seci will not serve time in prison due to his age (he is 72 today), while Flamur Noka, not knowing a word of English, has an alibi, as he can say that he does not know what he signed.
Who is Nuredin Seci?
Nuredin Seci was born on February 15, 1953 in Tropoja. He completed primary school in his hometown, while he completed high school in Shkodër, at the Dega Elektrike Vocational High School. Seci is known as a former mountaineer. For 30 years he has been an athlete and coach of the Valbona Mountaineering team.
Three years ago, Nuredin Seci was awarded the honorary title of the Municipality of Tropoja for his contribution as an athlete and coach to the development of mountaineering. The title was given by the socialist Rexhë Byberi.
Nuredin Seci is a member of the board of directors of the "Vatra Mëmëdheu" branch in New Jersey, USA, the newest branch opened in 2025.

Nuredin Seci also turns out to be the coordinator of the "Alpine Newspaper" in New Jersey, United States of America. Through this newspaper, Seci promotes well-known figures from Tropoja and the values of his birthplace.
Meanwhile, journalist Mero Baze has published a photo of Nuredin Seci's house in New Jersey, USA, on social media. The journalist writes: I don't know anyone who would give me a guarantee of 6 million dollars and live in a modest neighborhood in a modest house.

There are strong suspicions that Seci is simply a puppet of the Berisha family and that his patriotic association is simply a fabrication to camouflage Shkëlzen's dirty money, thrown away to clean up his father's biography./ Prapaskena
