The UN adopted the resolution on Srebrenica, Begaj: July 11 will serve to commemorate the victims of the genocide

The President of the Republic of Albania, Bajram Begaj, reacted after the adoption of the Srebrenica resolution by the United Nations General Assembly.

In a reaction on social networks, Begaj writes that Albania once again confirmed itself in the group of Western values.

He emphasized that this date will serve as a permanent bell to commemorate the punishment of the genocide, so that such massacres do not happen again.

"The United Nations General Assembly today adopted a resolution establishing July 11 as the International Day of Reflection and Remembrance of the 1995 Srebrenica Genocide.

Albania once again confirmed itself in the group of Western values ​​with its vote and commitment to have this resolution approved.

This date will serve as a permanent bell to commemorate the punishment of the genocide, so that such massacres will not be repeated and at the same time it is also a response to the deniers of the genocide and such terrible crimes" , writes Begaj.
