Ilir Meta's nightmare of prison has started to return. A few weeks ago, it went off the rails, leaving nothing unsaid for SPAK. But it calmed down for a few days. Today it is back to Avazi. Today, Meta stayed for over 3 hours at the prosecutor's office, where he gave clarifications on many suspicious cases.
It seems that Meta has realized that the handcuffs are close and has come out for the third time today, to attack SPAK. At the meeting of the National Steering Council, Ilir Meta said that justice in Albania is directed by Edi Rama. He further threatened the prosecutors that he will grab them by the ears.
" SPAK is a criminal institution, against the constitution, against political pluralism, instead of stopping Edi Rama and Erion Veliaj, it keeps the opposition leaders who defend Albania's sovereignty under pressure and blackmail. Every SPAK prosecutor, every corrupt judge who sleeps on the files there will be held accountable. There is no McGonigal protecting them. We will listen to you, as he went to prison, so will others. Therefore, it is our duty to strengthen the organization of the opposition and the PL, which should be a fire everywhere, to give hope to young people not to leave the country. Change is entirely possible. In a battle that one does not set out to die, one never wins. And this is a battle for death or freedom ," he said.
