The Chairman of the Democratic Party, Sali Berisha, referred to two hearings at the Council of Europe where Albania and the May 11 elections were discussed.
In a communication to the media from the blue headquarters, Berisha stated that a session was held in the EP that, according to him, "is rare" and that the Albanian government received the heaviest blow.
"This week was unprecedented in the 34 years of the DP's journey. This week, the narco-dictatorship of Albania, of Edi Rama, took the heaviest blow in the temples of European democracy with the two hearings, in the two largest temples of democracy in Europe, of parliamentarism in Europe. Never in 34 years has it ever happened, never, for any country, that two sessions of special importance are held in one week, dedicated to the same country, in the Council of Europe and the parliamentary groups of the EPP and the conservative Europeans, and yesterday in another session dedicated to Albania, dedicated to the same problems in the parliamentary foreign affairs committee. These unprecedented developments for a country, in a 3-day period, prove the great and absolute interest of these main institutions of freedoms, human rights, free elections and security in the EU. The bells are ringing for the narco-state, this is the truth of these two extraordinary sessions", said Berisha.
