Prime Minister Edi Rama today at a media conference was asked by journalists if there will be changes in the government in September.
Rama left doubting that this thesis, which has been circulating for weeks in the media, is true.
He also said that very soon the SP assembly will meet and they will make some important decisions.
"Wait a few more days, the meeting of the SP Assembly is coming soon," said Rama bluntly.
The National Assembly of the Socialist Party on July 26 decided to dismiss the entire Executive Secretariat of the party, while the replacement name was announced only for the new General Secretary and the other names are replaced in September.
There were also changes in the socialist parliamentary group. The seat left empty by Taulant Balla, now the Minister of the Interior, was taken by the former minister Bledi Çuçi, who left just a few weeks ago.
The Prime Minister himself did not have a comment for the media.
Earlier, there was talk of a departure of the Minister of Finance and Economy, Delina Ibrahimaj, but the minister herself and Prime Minister Rama denied it. Whether or not there will be changes in the cabinet, this will be known in the coming days, while September is expected to be busy for the socialists. In early autumn the Assembly decided to call the Socialist Congress.
