Draft resolution on the crimes of communism, Gjekmarkaj: Let's not forget the dark period of the dictatorship

DP MP Agron Gjekmarkaj, in his speech in parliament, commented on the draft resolution on the crimes of communism.

Gjekmarkaj emphasized that we must not forget the dark period of the dictatorship. He said that in this country there was never an apology for the crimes of communism.

Gjekmarkaj called for the crimes of monism not to be forgotten.

"Let's not forget the period of monism, the worst in the history of Albania. Let's not forget the dark period of the dictatorship. During that period, there were many heroes who resisted a monstrous regime. In this period, individuals emerged who fought it regime. Many writers were imprisoned or killed by the regime. They were not even asked for forgiveness for that period. Decommunism must have been a process and Denazism", said Gjekmarkaj.
