Democratic MP, Dashamir Sula, has asked the Assembly to remove from the agenda the draft decision on the establishment of the Special Anticorruption Commission. Sula said that once the institutions of justice must report on the reports of 2023, then this decision should be put on the agenda in another session.
"I would like to ask you that in today's session on the agenda, where we also have the decision on the Anticorruption Commission, the reason why I am asking to withdraw has more to do with the reporting of independent institutions, especially the justice system, which have reported to the Laws Commission and one of the points of discussion and debate that Dumani had, where he said that in fulfilling the tasks left by the recommendations of 2023, we were unable to complete them due to the effective lack of time these institutions report, we had debates here and then this commission that you have so much in mind, I don't believe that it will disrupt work for another 2 weeks that corruption was not fought", said Sula.
