The spokesperson of the Democratic Party, Floriana Garo, said that this protest is in the wake of the opposition's action, which has as its main goal the technical government.
"We want justice, we want a technical government, and we will aim for this until we achieve it," said the DP spokeswoman.
Garo added that today citizens are expressing their revolt and anger when, according to her, words are not heard and actions are ignored.
"I find the participation satisfactory. Here are the democrats and the opposition who feel they must come and express their revolt. This protest today is in the wake of the opposition action that has been announced. We are demanding our rights as the opposition over and over again and we are being denied over and over again. Scandals break out every day.
There is an apathy here where people do not react so it is our duty to organize civil disobedience to show what we are looking for. We want justice, we want a technical government, and we will aim for this until we achieve it.
I think these are actions that express their revolt and their anger when words are not heard and actions are ignored. There is nothing left but to express the revolt in any way. We have reached the EP to protest", said Garo.
