The deputy of the Democratic Party, Albana Vokshi, said that the protest of the day before is the biggest that the opposition has ever carried out. Vokshi said that based on the calculations, there were 120,000 protesters on the boulevard yesterday.
"There is no one who is not clear that the opposition has support, it was beyond expectations for the better. I had full confidence, from the structure from the exits to the branches, that we would have large numbers and we were trying to go to one of the biggest protests, like the July 7 protest, this one yesterday, there were 25% more, there were more than 120 thousand in the square", said Vokshi for "A2 CNN".
As she described it as a citizen's protest, she said that there were also former directors of the mayor Erion Veliaj on the Boulevard, as she emphasized that they had strong reasons to protest.
"We have also seen the former director of Veliaj with his family that we have identified, because those who may not have contacted them directly have come out, but our message has gone out, and anyone who had a reason to come out yesterday had the day to to come out", continued the MP.
According to her, the protest proved that the citizens support the united opposition, but also its action, with protests inside and outside the Assembly.
"Yesterday's protest proved that the opposition is standing, that it is stronger, that the united opposition is welcome, because the citizens came out for the message of the unity of the opposition, but also of the opposition front, and they greeted and supported the opposition action as inside and outside the parliament, on the street of Hope", concluded Vokshi.
