Democratic Party MP Albana Vokshi has reacted to the protest of the citizens of Vlora, who have been left without drinking water for several days.
In a post on social media, Vokshi emphasizes that the lack of water in the middle of winter in a coastal city is not a luxury, but a vital and just need of citizens.
She adds that those responsible for this situation remain silent, while citizens are rising up to demand solutions.
"Vlora, a city that does not surrender.
The citizens of Vlora have gone on strike because they have been without water for several days. In the middle of winter, in a coastal city, water is scarce, while it is silent.
This is not politics, this is a vital need. This is not a luxury, it is a right.
The message is clear: "You are the one, we are the one!" Vlora, your voice is right and strong," the MP writes as she supports residents in their protest against injustice and the lack of basic services.
