A little more than an hour of work, the summit for Ukraine in Tirana has ended.
After the end of the Summit, Prime Minister Edi Rama and Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky are giving a joint press conference.
During his speech, Rama said that not only Albanian institutions or politics, but the entire Albanian people are on the side of Ukraine, on the side of law.
He further emphasized that "we are honored to welcome a leader of the resistance", adding that President Zelensky is standing for democracy against the neo-imperialist dream they seek to build.
"Thank you to everyone and above all, to those of you who have come to Tirana from our region. It is a special moment for us in Albania, because we are not only privileged to welcome the head of state, but we are also honored to host a leader of the resistance We are gathered against the neo-imperialist force they seek to build.
I am honored that we had the opportunity to maintain our position, not only as Albania, but as a community of countries and nations that share the same position, that stand for Ukraine.
I am proud and we have made it clear that it is not only the government, the Parliament, not only the institutions, but the entire nation and the people of our country that stands by Ukraine and supports Ukraine steadfastly", said Rama .
