Rama avoided the meeting with Kurti, the office of the prime minister of Kosovo reacts: He is only meeting those who will adjust the reports
The spokesman of the government of Kosovo, Përparim Kryeziu, explained why the Prime Minister of Albania, Edi Rama, did not hold a meeting with Albin Kurti, although he is in Pristina within the framework of the 25th anniversary of the Liberation of the country.
He joked by saying that Rama is meeting those who need to adjust the reports. Keyeziu announced that they had invited Rama to the activity that marked the liberation of Kosocva on June 12, but this invitation was rejected.
"Based on the agenda so far, it seems that in Pristina, the Prime Minister of Albania, Rama, is meeting those with whom he considers that he needs to adjust his relations. On the other hand, Prime Minister Kurti, his office, has invited Prime Minister Rama to the activities marking the 25th anniversary of the liberation of Kosovo on June 12. Prime Minister Rama, namely his Office, has informed us that he will not be able to be present on June 12. He is welcome to join the activities of the state agenda. We wish you to come to the 146th annual Manifestation of the League of Prizren, because the League of Prizren is not only of Kosovo" , says the reaction of Kurti's government spokesperson.
Prime Minister Edi Rama paid a visit to Kosovo today, on the occasion of the 25th anniversary of the NATO intervention and the liberation of Kosovo. At the start of his visit, Rama met one-on-one with President Vjosa Osmani and then participated in the International Conference "Rugova and the West", dedicated to this anniversary, which is held in honor of the political legacy of President Rugova, as well as the countries allies, which had an essential role during the war years in Kosovo.
In his speech during the conference in Pristina, Rama did not hesitate to sting Kurti, emphasizing that true leadership in the search for peace is measured not by the ability to erect glass towers, but by the skill to build bridges of cooperation.
