Today's plenary session in the Assembly was closed amid tensions and noise, where Berisha's MPs stood in front of the pulpit with banners in their hands, while the majority voted on the draft laws.
After the plenary session, the vice-president of DP, Kreshnik Çollaku, called on the Bardhi group to sit down for discussions on the Electoral Reform.
Çollaku said that other opposition colleagues are welcome to sit in discussions and come up with a joint draft in the Electoral Reform Commission.
He stated that the forms chosen by the opposition to block the normal life of the Assembly are turning into a boomerang, while he added that an attempt will be made to dialogue within the group to continue with the next actions.
"Even this today is an abnormal session that we think damages the opposition. As you saw, the majority passed in 5-6 minutes 4-5 very important laws, among which that of the diaspora.
This situation is turning into a problem. We supported the request of the rest of the opposition for the establishment of Investigative Commissions, but apparently this path is not proving successful. The big loser here is the opposition.
To understand that by blocking the Parliament in this way, the only thing we do is block ourselves. The majority has no problem and passes important laws in complete irresponsibility. He passes them without worrying. This is a path that is leading to the creation of an alibi of comfort for the majority, which it does not deserve.
In the event that the President of the Assembly would accept Bardhi's list at the request of Reestablishment, she would practically exclude PD, the largest party in the opposition, from the Electoral Reform Commission. We are open to see with our opposition colleagues what will come out of this electoral reform.
We do not move from the position of open lists. Open lists, immigrant vote and electronic voting. The majority has no interest in changing this electoral code. The only mechanism that can unite the opposition is reason and logic. This means that it cannot be done for the time we have left, because time does not allow us" , he said.
