The former prime minister, Sali Berisha, has accused Erion Veliaj and Edi Rama of having disappeared 130 million euros with the burner affair. Berisha, speaking from the window of his apartment during the daily gatherings, mentioned Friday of Veliaj, who said that he would report every day the works and the construction progress, calling it the page of 1 million trees.
Berisha said that Veliaj should not stay at the head of the Municipality of Tirana for a single minute. He did not leave without emphasizing the thefts of Edi Rama, as he added that there is no longer any force that protects him.
"Erion, you are the face of the 1 million wood forest because you stole Tirana's money for 1 million trees that do not exist anywhere on earth.
Erion, you don't deserve to be called Erion, but I'm still not letting go. You can't be president for a minute, first citizen, because you're not even a citizen, you're a slanderous thief who not only friends. Aren't you the one who, with Edi Rama, disappeared 130 million euros for the Tirana chili, at a time when chili is not even known as a mole?
Erion, deserves every epithet, but I'm not letting my mouth go. But I remind the citizens of Tirana that you had a written commitment that you will report every month on the works, the situations, the construction progress.
As for you and Edi Rama, not only did you not report on the enterprise, but you stole and only stole the money of the taxpayers of Albania, 130 million until today. What do you want more? That Duman protects you, you poor thing, but there is no force to protect you from the citizens of Tirana. There is no Duman or Zaman to protect you", said Berisha.
