The deputy of the Democratic Party, Dashnor Sula, has stated that for the Electoral Reform there should be cooperation between the opposition and the majority, just as was done with the "Criminal Amnesty" that was approved yesterday in the Assembly.
He added that his duty is to sound the alarm bells regarding the parliamentary elections of 2025. He added that if the DP does not reflect, it does not predict positive results for 2025.
Deputy Sula said that he does not agree with the way DP is working, expressing his dissatisfaction with not participating in the meeting of deputies.
" The initiative for changes in the Electoral Code is to be evaluated. Late changes. The product produced by the commission has important materials. Good deeds are done slowly. The Legal Reform was completed within three weeks, so we have a reform that has problems. We are running out of time, but time is not over.
We have some fundamental problems where ODIHR cannot intervene, such as the electoral system.
As it was cooperated yesterday for the Criminal Amnesty, it is possible to cooperate in this part as well.
High-level officials do not benefit from Criminal Amnesty. If this was not done, I would not agree with Amnesty.
We do not demoralize SPAK, we should even encourage it, we should support it. I rate the work of SPAK with 8/10.
Think that if it was not SPAK, the opposition would not have an argument to talk about, because members of the majority would not be in prison. Our words would remain rhetorical.
I was not present at the last meeting of the Reestablishment group of deputies, and even at several meetings before, I have my reservations. This is in relation to the way PD is working as a whole. It is not at the required level. My goal is to ring the alarm bells for 2025. I'm not a prophet, but the opposition must reflect in all directions, if it doesn't, it's in vain ," he said.
