Towers in Tirana, Tabaku reveals the scheme to the government Rama: Tenders

Deputy of the Democratic Party, Jorida Tabaku, said that the majority in power approves laws by order, counting 20 such which, according to her, were made in the interest of a group of individuals.

In a post on social networks, Tabaku writes that a scheme that is being used to benefit from state properties is that the properties are made available to private individuals to build towers and the government benefits from offices or premises in these buildings.

"We cannot build a Western Albania, with a functional democracy, if we close our eyes and remain silent in the face of the swamp that is rotting society. We cannot hope that Albania will become better when on the battlefield we have a government that does not have the political will to fight corruption, a majority that only has the political will to raise the card every time the government asks without asking for an account of how the properties and the taxes of the Albanians are included in the corruption scheme that enriches the governors and impoverishes Albania", says Tabaku.

Legislation in function of the minority!

The socialist government has in its political CV the approval of almost 20 custom laws. Laws tailored to the interests of a group of individuals, and it is unfortunate that many of them are proposed by MPs. The story starts from September 2013 until now, although the socialist majority has sung the chorus of "the party that works for the Albanians" in the floor of the assembly, it has only enriched the accounts of a minority while impoverishing the wallet of the majority, above all, destroying the middle class.

It has done this by destroying the market economy and competition; overloading the middle class with taxes and building corrupt schemes that not only send Albanians' taxes to their businesses but also to money laundering schemes.

The most recent example is the approval of a draft law that provides the super-ministry of Economy-Innovation-Technology and super-property with the power to distribute land to a certain set of enterprises. This bill did not pass the normal legal procedure of a law as socialist MPs volunteered to sing the song of the proletarians and socialism in the rostrum while voting with a show of hands for the law giving state lands to the oligarchy.

Before the ink of the law firm has dried, it turns out that at least two towers with a value of at least 150 million euros have been given for construction. It is about two properties, one located on Muhamet Gjollesha street, or the building known as Construction Engineering and Property Management Agency. While the other tower near the Commune of Paris. Gojëligs who do not want the government's good will say that buildings like ATSH can have a similar end.

The scheme assumes that the government will auction the land it owns, giving it to a developer and acquiring some floors to house its offices. this scheme was actually used by the Municipality of Tirana led by Veliaj, which resulted in the conclusion that Tirana today has more buildings, fewer parks and definitely not more offices for the municipality although it has more staff per resident than most municipalities large cities of the region, including Istanbul.

The same scheme will now be used by the government which tells the Albanians that it will get more offices for itself but in fact it will donate a public space that is currently used by the government to a private person. In fairness, one can say what does a government lose by offering the building for construction? At the very least, it loses its responsibility, treats public lands as private and engages in property exchange adventures that are not enjoyed by the legitimate owner, while the state behaves like an ordinary realtor.

In reality, the government's plan, more than a thought-out effort to develop the capacity of government buildings, is a business plan with Albanians' money going into their personal coffers. And this is not a trick! It is enough to read the latest SPAK report that explains how concessions and tenders have been used as the personal ATM of a government rotten in corruption, how ministers and former ministers, deputy prime ministers and former deputy prime ministers, mayors and former mayors have used taxes which are paid by Albanians and taken from the mouths of their families to get rich abusively.

When we talk about preventing corruption, when we debate and build strategies with big words, we must also take into account these wickedly created corruption schemes. It is these schemes that show the real face of the government dressed in the sheep's skin that grazes on the lawns of Albania. Endemic corruption is exactly that! The corrupt system with which the foundations of a state were built that rots every day with the fear that suppresses the hope of Albanians.

We cannot build a Western Albania, with a functional democracy, if we close our eyes and remain silent in the face of the swamp that is rotting society. We cannot hope that Albania will become better when on the battlefield we have a government that does not have the political will to fight corruption, a majority that only has the political will to raise the card every time the government asks without asking for an account of how the properties and Albanians' taxes are included in the corruption scheme that enriches the governors and impoverishes Albania.
