The deputy of the Democratic Party, Gazmet Bardhi, has rekindled the debates about the Xibraka case, where it is suspected that the brother of the prime minister, Edi Rama, Olsi Rama is also involved. Bardhi, through a post on the "Facebook" social network, stated that Rama lied when he said that he had not filed a complaint with SPAK, as he stated that SPAK has officially notified him of the resumption of the suspended investigations into the involvement of Olsi Rama.
" After my request to SPAK to restart the investigations of criminal proceedings no. 335/1 - year 2016, which Edi Rama would very much like to be buried in, today I was informed by SPAK that the case has been reactivated. SPAK has officially notified me of the resumption of the suspended investigations for the involvement of Olsi Rama in the cocaine trafficking file in Xibraka. Former criminal procedure with no. 335/1-2016, was registered as proceeding no. 88 - year 2024. For this matter I have been invited to give further clarifications to SPAK ", Bardhi wrote, among other things.
Regarding these statements of Bardhi, the reaction of Prime Minister Edi Rama was immediate, calling the DP deputy a false accuser.
Through a post on the "Twitter" social network, Rama declared that as far as the case that Bardhi says is concerned, everything is null, since according to him there is no evidence.
In his post, Rama sent a clear message to SPAK, telling him not to deal with Bardhi's words, but to be based on laws and facts. Rama further emphasized that SPAK has the opportunity to reveal the truth, as he warned justice that there is no middle ground in this matter.
