The call for dialogue for the People's Advocate, Pëllumbi accuses Bardhi: They are using the Assembly to solve personal problems

Arben Pëllumbi, deputy of the SP, says that Gazment Bardhi's call for dialogue to elect the People's Advocate is simply a way for the opposition to use the Assembly to solve their internal problems.

Invited to Report TV, MP Pëllumbi said that they recognize the parliamentary group of a political party, not the political party. According to Pellumbi, they are open to cooperate, but they will not become notaries of the names of the DP.

"There is a need for some kind of cooperation, for some time now it has entered a deadlock because there are certain members of the opposition who want to use the parliament for their internal problems. The Assembly does not do this to solve internal problems. The Assembly has a well-defined regulation. In the parliament, the parliamentary group is recognized, not the political party. We in the Assembly have many challenges that, as I said, we also need cooperation with the opposition. They must solve it based on the statute they have. The opposition must understand that we are not a notary of the names they bring. We will not make our proposals, this belongs to the opposition, but not by imposing this name or it does not exist. We must find a language within this framework of cooperation," Pëllumbi said .

When asked about the statement of DP MP Dashnor Sula, that Great Britain has prepared a list of 12 persons declared non grata, including ministers and former ministers of the SP, Pëllumbi described this as a scam media, as long as there is nothing official.

"I am as aware as you are, we see more of a media scoop than a reality as long as it has not been made official by the representatives of that country. Great Britain informs the individual. I hope this is not true and remain a rumor if something happened, we will wait," Pëllumbi said.

Gazment Bardhi requested the restart of the procedures for the election of the New People's Advocate, a process that remained suspended in the Albanian Parliament. He said that DP deputies are ready for dialogue with the Socialist Party, to ensure a transparent process for the selection of the People's Advocate.
