Arlind Qori's 'Joint Movement' has reacted to the scandal where President Bajram Begaj took a large number of companions with him for his stay in New York, where he will participate in the UN proceedings.

Among the names on the list of people accompanying Begaj, there is also his wife's hairdresser, a companion of his wife, the son of the President and a large number of advisers.

"The Joint Movement" emphasizes that Begaj has abused tens of thousands of dollars, from taxpayers' money, for unnecessary expenses.

Furthermore, Lévizja Bashke also emphasizes that the Rama government prioritizes luxury spending, adding the increase in MPs' salaries to over 3 million ALL per month. They also point out that pensions, social assistance and disability camps, orphan aid and spending on the poorest and most vulnerable in society remain among the lowest in Europe.

"THE ABUSE OF PUBLIC MONEY HAS NOT BEEN STOPPED. The participation of the President of the Republic Bajram Begaj in the session of the UN General Assembly revealed once again the tradition of continuous abuse of public money by our citizens.

Friends, family, bodyguards, and even a hairdresser, a total of 21 names, will be Begay's companion in New York, costing the budget several tens of thousands of dollars in unnecessary expenses.

Luxury expenses for offices, cars, meals and hotels are a priority for Edi Ramen and his ministers. Not far away, on May 25, the majority deputies and the entire parliament voted unanimously to increase their salary to over 3 million lek per month. The salaries of ministers, senior judges and the president himself also increase significantly. Today, the further increase in the salary of the members of the Constitutional Court is being discussed.

Meanwhile, pensions, social assistance and disability camps, aid for orphans and expenses for the poorest and most vulnerable of society remain among the lowest in Europe. Wages of labourers, teachers and petty clerks too. The vital minimum is refused to be put on the agenda of the Assembly. The TOGETHER movement is categorically against the abuse of public money. We have proven this principle with words and deeds. The abuse is a sign that their thievery has no limits," writes Lévizja Bashke.
