Prime Minister Edi Rama thanked President Erdogan for his visit to Tirana, where, in addition to the inauguration of the Namazgja mosque, several agreements were signed between Albania and Turkey.
"Ejwallah", said Rama to President Erdogan in the joint statement to the media.
Turkey has donated some kamikaze drones to Albania, for which Rama thanked President Erdogan, but stressed that no one should worry, as our country has no intention of hitting anyone.
Rama has shown that in every meeting, Erdogan says that the level of trade exchanges between Albania and Turkey does not properly reflect the potential between the two countries.
The head of the government adds that the ambition is for the exchange between the two countries to exceed 2 billion euros.
" The President reiterated and we definitely agreed that more should be done for direct investment from the Turkish side in the tourism sector. Thanks to the gentleman at my side, Turkey has made a stunning transformation, not just welcoming millions of tourists, but having the capacity of knowledge which for us would be very expensive.
On the other hand, today we signed several agreements, but the most welcome was the signing of the agreement for the Technical University of Istanbul in Tirana. This is important in several respects and is something that will usher in a new space of world-class higher studies.
We are very interested and very satisfied today after the confirmation of a new stage in the strengthening of Albania's military industry and in the strengthening of this relationship in the military aspect. It is known that Turkey has a high level of military capacity. I appreciate the President's gift in this troubled time where the world has taken a strange direction to put it mildly to give the Albanian army a number of kamikaze dorns. It should not concern anyone who Albania will hit, but I believe that it is a gift that carries a clear message from Turkey, in relation to this relationship, that Albania is invulnerable. "- said Rama.
